Admin Assistant for the Team Parish of St Luke in the City

We are appointing to a 9-month fixed term contract, to coordinate the church office and support the staff, ministry, and Rector of St Luke in the City. There are various aspects of the role, and we welcome applications proposing job-sharing arrangements.

We are looking for an experienced competent administrator who can:

·       Promote, manage and develop efficient systems for the hiring of our 3 church buildings, including relationship management with our existing hirers, as well as nurturing relationships with prospective new hirers, both regular and one-off hires. 

·       Act as a focal point of contact for hirers, and ensure any reports from hirers of incidents, near misses, breakages are communicated to the staff and churchwardens teams and acted upon.

·       Maintain clear and correct records of hires and their bookings in the church calendar, and communicate this to the staff team, churchwardens, and treasurer.

·       Maintain the church office and systems, both electronic and paper records.

·       Help coordinate our internal and external communications, including social media, e-news, and websites. This aspect of the role is expected to take approx. 1 hour per week.

·       Work effectively with and to support Church volunteers, the staff team, and the PCC. This is essential for all aspects of the role.
