Primary Location: St Bride’s Church, Percy Street, Liverpool, L8 7LT
Salary: £11 to £13 per hour (depending on qualifications and experience)
Hours: 2-year Fixed Term - Part Time: 15 hours per month
Leave: 20 days holiday per year (pro rata)
The Team Parish of St Luke in the City is seeking a friendly and experienced Ministry Coordinator for Open Table to join the team. As a member of the team, you provide administration, financial and communication support to the Open Table Liverpool worshipping community at St. Brides.
Who are we?
The Team Parish of St Luke in the City is the Church of England parish serving the southern side of Liverpool city centre, stretching eastward from the Baltic Triangle, through Chinatown and the Canning and University areas on to Edge Hill and the border of Wavertree. The parish is served by three churches: St Bride's, St Dunstan's, and St Michael in the City. It also provides chaplaincy support to Liverpool Women's NHS Trust and hosts Open Table, a growing Fresh Expression for the LGBTQIA+ community.

Responsibilities
Manage and oversee the organization's finances in accordance with established procedures.
Coordinate social media activities, creating engaging content and managing online presence.
Plan and execute events in alignment with organizational objectives.
Ensure effective safeguarding practices are implemented and maintained.
Facilitate communication between stakeholders, fostering positive relationships.
Prioritize tasks efficiently and manage personal performance effectively.
Attend evening and weekend meetings as required, with prior notice.
Requirements
A-level/BTEC qualifications demonstrating proficiency in English and Maths.
Ability to creatively solve problems and overcome challenges.
Proven ability to take responsibility and ensure task completion.
Resilient, flexible, and shares the values of the Church of England and Open Table
High proficiency in Microsoft Office and social media tools
Effective communication skills and prioritization abilities.
Experience within faith communities and access to personal transport.
