LGBT History Month Communion Service

LGBT History Month is celebrated every February, run by Schools Out, an association of LGBT+ teachers.

Each year they take a theme from the school curriculum - last year's was 'Religion, Belief & Philosophy', and Open Table, our worshipping community for LGBTQIA+ Christians and all who believe in an inclusive Church, was well represented at local events - Kieran wrote about them here.

This year's theme is Citizenship, PSHE and Law as we mark the 50th anniversary of the partial decriminalisation of male homosexuality in England and Wales. Click here for details of events here.

At Open Table Liverpool in February, our communion service will be led by Fiona Thomas, Secretary for Education and Learning in the United Reformed Church. We're delighted to welcome Fiona, who is supporting the growing partnership of Open Table with URC churches.

Open Table Liverpool, LGBT History Month Communion Service, Sunday 19th February 2017, refreshments from 6pm, service from 6.30pm.
