Creating an icon of our diversity for St Bride's feast day
ON SUNDAY 3rd February 2019, we gathered with friends from our sister churches in our team parish, St Dunstan’s and St Michael’s, to celebrate the feast day of our patron St Bride (aka Saint Brigid of Ireland) in creative style.
Around fifty members of the parish took part in creating a mosaic from an icon of our patron, each one drawing a rectangle copied from the icon shown here.
Each rectangle drawn by a member of the parish is unique, but each is essential to make the picture, and the parish, complete.
