You are invited to our next virtual gathering Sunday, 20th June and we’re celebrating our 13th Birthday!
In June 2008, six people gathered at the first Open Table with a vision to start a regular communion service for the LGBTQIA+ community. Twelve years later Open Table has grown to see more than 40 people gathering at services monthly in Liverpool and has multiplied across England and Wales. There is much to celebrate.
While we can’t celebrate in person we will be gathering on Zoom.
Our Team Curate, Louis Johnson, who was recently ordained priest will lead a service of Holy Communion. Please do bring some bread and wine, biscuit & grape juice or any other combination you desire and we can share food together despite not being able to share sacramentally.
After the service, you are welcome to stay on for a chat and feel free to bring cake.
To join the gathering just click this link: (or copy and paste):

You'll be asked to either download a free piece of software/app (also works on phones) or click "start from your browser" and it will load in your browser.
Don’t have a video camera on your computer or phone? You can dial in instead from any telephone for just audio and still take part. There isn’t a Merseyside number but try one of the following:
0131 460 1196
0203 051 2874
0203 481 5237
0203 481 5240
If prompted enter:
Meeting ID: 348 762 7488
Password: 494498
Do try joining before 6.30pm if you are worried about connecting and someone will be available to help if we can.
For those of you who are new to Zoom – when you join the call please help us by:
Choosing the ‘gallery view’ in the top right corner so you can see everyone on the call
muting your mics until you speak
choosing whether you would like to have your video on or off
being assured that this won’t be recorded
using the chat box function if needed
Our time together will be spent in a service then a chance to chat afterwards.
Looking forward to seeing you on Sunday evening.
