On Monday 30th November 8pm you are invited to join Searchlight Advent Art Course.

It is a 4 week participatory art course where there will be opportunity to reflect on the theme of light.

Participants will be emailed a quote/s each week in lent to reflect on and are invited to respond creatively by producing artwork. Each Monday evening participants will gather to share their work to the group on Zoom. This process aims to provoke conversation, inspire and edify participants.

At the end of the 4 weeks participants can choose artwork that they would like to be displayed in a virtual online gallery which will launch on the 21st December.

Work can be in any medium you wish: painting, drawing, photography, spoken word, dance, textile art, performance art, music composition and so on. The work does not have to be complete, you may want to share an idea each week, bring along sketches or a journal, or screen share what youíve been up to. The project aims to be prayerful, reflective and illuminating.
