Each of our faith stories is unique, and our journeys into, away from and back to faith are as varied as we are, but how do we 'go deeper'? Confirmation is an ancient Christian rite whereby you remember your baptism and publicly affirm your own faith as an adult. Confirmation isn't a destination in faith, but is often an important moment in the ongoing journey. In the Anglican Church, this service is led by a Bishop during a communion service, but you don't have to be baptised as an Anglican! This year, a confirmation service will take place at Liverpool Cathedral on February 24th
Warren Hartley from Open Table and Miranda Threlfall-Holmes our Team Rector, will be running a confirmation course for anyone interested in baptism/confirmation, or just finding out more about the Christian faith and what it means to be a member of the Church.
Join us on the four Thursdays in January from the 9th to the 30th January at 7.30pm at St Bride's. Email Warren on liverpool@opentable.lgbt to find out more and to book your place.
Tea, coffee and biscuits provided.
