Open Table, the monthly service at St Bride's for Liverpool’s LGBTQIA+ community, invites YOU to our tenth birthday communion service, led by Revd Dr Steven Shakespeare, author of Prayers for An Inclusive Church and Cate Jacobs, author of Climbing Mountains in the Dark.
BSL Interpretation will be available. The service will be followed by a shared meal of soup and bread, and of course rainbow cake!
EVERYONE is welcome - bring a friend. #ComeAsYouAre
In June 2008, six people gathered at the first Open Table with a vision to start a regular communion service for the LGBTQIA+ community. Ten years later Open Table has grown to see more than 40 people gathering at services monthly in Liverpool and has multiplied across England and Wales. There is much to celebrate.
Open Table is an ecumenical Christian worship community which offers a warm welcome to people who are: Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer / Questioning, Intersex, Asexual (LGBTQIA) and all who seek an inclusive Church. No matter who you are, where you've come from, or where your journey may take you, you will find a welcome.
