Free and Fun Song Writing Workshop Saturday April 20th St Bride’s Church

We’re the i choir and we’re holding workshops raising awareness of the stigma surrounding mental health.

We want to help make it o.k. to talk about mental health and  because we’re a choir we’re doing it the best way we know how by holding Song Writing Workshops! Our workshops are relaxed, informative and fun, we involve people in discussion, learn top song writing tips and have a go together in writing lyrics for a fab new song.  The i choir and friends will record the song – (you can come and join us if you want!) – and it will be available as a free download from our website.

You’ll be part of the campaign to help people feel o.k. to talk about their mental health.  The workshop will be a full day from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. with a free lunch and refreshments.  The i choir will be performing some songs too, and again you can join in with us – singing is GREAT for your health.  Find out all about us and listen to the songs that have been written so far at www.ichoir.org.uk Most of us know someone with a mental health issue, most of us at one time or another has felt low and 1 in 4 of us will have a mental health issue at some point in our lives.  We have physical health and mental health and we need to look after both!

If you would like to attend please email Olga Snell from i choir on: love2sing@ichoir.org.uk or you can speak to Rev Sara Doyle 07429 415729

It is important we know numbers so please let Olga or Sara know if you want to take part in the day by 6th April.
