Heritage Lottery Fund bid update

Sadly we heard this week that our bid for a substantial grant from the Heritage Lottery Fund  (HLF) to restore and renew the St Bride's building has not been successful this time.

We will now take a period of reflection as applications are closed for the next year while the HLF change their funding criteria and we wait to discover what they are.

The project group, who have worked so hard over a number of years on the bid, have met to reflect on all that we've learned through the process and we are confident that none of the reflection, learning and planning will be wasted as we seek to discern future plans.

Thank you to everyone for your support.  The amount of support and goodwill that we have in the wider community was noted in the feedback that we received.  This certainly is isn't the end, just a fork in the road.
